I bring 13 years of experience as a general practitioner and provide medical expertise and proficiency in counselling, supporting and empowering patients in their journey to well-being.
I earned my degree in medicine from El Bosque University, Bogota, Colombia, in 2006. I practised as a GP in Colombia before migrating to Australia. Then, I worked in Tenterfield as a GP for 3 years and gained my fellowship of the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners. Then I moved to Sydney, where I had been a GP at Bondi Doctors for the last 7 years and now I bring my services to Gordon 7 Day Medical Centre.
With a particular interest in Women's Health, Nutritional, Environmental and Functional Medicine, I completed environmental and nutritional medicine training with ACNEM (Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) and the Bio-Balance practitioner training with the Walsh Research Institute. For the last 6 years, I have been working as an Integrative GP at Invitation to Health in Wyoming.
With a warm, empathetic and thorough approach to treating patients, I spend time with them to achieve a deep and holistic understanding of their health needs. In addition, I work closely with my patients to help them achieve their health goals. I am also fluent in Spanish, therefore I can support people from Spanish-speaking backgrounds in feeling understood and comfortable in their healthcare.
